Recently on the Martha Stewart TV Show, Martha and Hannah Milman, Holidays and Crafts Editor, created a beach-inspired paperweight using shells. Hannah makes it a point to attend the Sanibel Shell Show and Fair each year.
This segment highlighted the work of winners from the Artistic Division of the juried Shell Show and the Shell Crafters at the Sanibel Community House. Featured items included classic sailor's valentines, orchids, a decorated vase, shell animals, a village, and paperweights all made from shells. The segment concluded with instructions on how to make a paperweight using shells.
