Our Founder - Curtis Perry

Curtis was a bachelor artist and winter resident from Maine.  Donations came to him in the form of land, volunteer labor, and building materials when he founded "The Community House". 

"The Community House" became the "Gathering Place" on Saturday nights.  The electricity was paid by local residents putting on "sketches".  That was the beginning of the significant role of "The Community House".
